Improv

WOW!!

One thing that feeds me, so to speak, is being around enormously clever people. Let me clarify.

These people are simply being themselves and for some reason, you have an instant humor and personality click. The banter quickly segways into humor, jokes, chain humor and  - well, pretty soon you're both laughing, people are looking at you - either curious, miffed or laughing themselves as the laughter is infectious...

Last Friday it was one of those days where I was lucky to be in the right place at the right time when the Central Iowa Bloggers met - check it out. If you've got a good computer, you can really enjoy the streaming that was recored. (that's me in the read sweater).

To every body who was there - THANKS! you all made my day (and made me ridiculously insufferable for everyone else around me)

I got to meet a variety of "new" people, catch up with some I already know - best of both worlds. One newbie (to me) had been involved in Improv Everywhere. I HIGHLY encourage you to check some of there stuff out.

Last week was also the same week I happened upon this clip. Talk about inspiring.

So find some thing, some body that inspires you, that creates an improvisation type atmosphere and RUN WITH IT!!! You'll be glad you did.
